No. That's a myth. Dermaplaning removes vellus hair (peach fuzz) at the surface. It grows back the same texture and thickness. It doesn't change the hair follicle at all.

Dermaplaning uses a blade to remove dead skin and peach fuzz for an instantly smooth surface. Microdermabrasion uses a diamond-tip device to exfoliate deeper. Both reveal fresh skin; dermaplaning is gentler, microdermabrasion goes a bit deeper.

Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your appointment time. The amount varies by service ($5 to $20) and is applied toward your total. This protects both of us.

I ask for at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or no-shows forfeit the deposit. Life happens; just let me know as early as you can.
