What brow lamination actually is
Brow lamination is a styling treatment. It softens the brow hairs so they can be combed into a chosen direction, then sets them there. Your brows keep their own color and their own hairs. Nothing is added, tattooed, or implanted.
The effect people are usually after is fullness. Brow hairs that grow downward, sideways, or in three directions at once leave gaps you can see. Lamination lifts those hairs up and out, so the same brow covers more area and reads as denser without any product.
It is worth knowing the honest limit up front: lamination works with the hair you already have. If a section of the brow has no growth at all, lamination will not fill it. Martha will tell you that in the chair rather than after.
Who it suits, and who might want something else
Lamination tends to be the right call if your brows are naturally full but unruly, if the hairs are coarse and grow flat against the skin, or if you spend real time every morning brushing and setting them with gel.
If your brows read as sparse rather than messy, tint alone may do more for you, because it darkens the fine hairs that are already there. If you want the shape refined at the same time, the combined lamination, tint, and shape up service handles all three in one visit.
How long it lasts
Most clients get six to eight weeks from a lamination before the brows start returning to their natural growth pattern. That range is not a guarantee, it is a pattern: coarse hair and oily skin tend to sit at the shorter end, fine hair at the longer end.
The result does not fall off all at once. It relaxes gradually, which is why the grow-out is easy to live with. When you notice yourself reaching for brow gel again, that is the signal to rebook.

The appointment, start to finish
A lamination appointment runs in a fixed order. Knowing the sequence makes the timing on the booking page make sense, and tells you when you get a say.
Shape consultation
Martha looks at your natural growth pattern and your face, then talks through the shape and how lifted you want the finish. This is the moment to say if you like your brows softer or more structured.
Cleanse and prep
The brow area is cleansed so there is no makeup, oil, or product left on the hairs. Anything left behind keeps the solution from working evenly.
Lifting solution
The first solution softens the brow hairs so they can be moved. It sits for a short, timed period and is checked, because leaving it on longer does not give a better result.
Combing and setting
The hairs are combed into the agreed direction while they are pliable, then a second solution sets them there. This is the step that creates the lifted, brushed-up look.
Nourish and finish
The brows are conditioned to put moisture back into the hair, then dried and brushed into their final shape. If you added tint or a shape up, those happen around this stage.
Aftercare walkthrough

Laminación de cejas: qué esperar
La laminación de cejas es un tratamiento de estilo, no un color y no un tatuaje. Se ablanda el vello de la ceja para poder peinarlo hacia arriba y luego se fija en esa dirección. Tus cejas conservan su propio color y su propio vello.
El efecto que casi todas buscan es verse más llenas. Cuando el vello crece hacia abajo o hacia los lados, quedan huecos visibles. Al levantarlo, la misma ceja cubre más espacio y se ve más densa sin usar producto.
El límite honesto: la laminación trabaja con el vello que ya tienes. Si hay una zona sin crecimiento, la laminación no la llena. Martha te lo dice en la silla, no después.
La cita sigue un orden fijo: consulta de forma, limpieza, solución para levantar el vello, peinado y fijación, nutrición y acabado, y al final las indicaciones de cuidado. Todo el proceso se explica en español si lo prefieres.
El resultado dura entre seis y ocho semanas en la mayoría de las clientas. No se cae de golpe, se relaja poco a poco. Cuando vuelvas a necesitar gel de cejas por la mañana, es momento de agendar otra vez.

Does brow lamination hurt?
No. Nothing is pulled or punctured. Most of the appointment is you lying still with product on the brows. If you also add a brow wax, that part has the usual brief sting of waxing.
How long does brow lamination last?
